Abrasion & Corrosion Resistant Ceramic Ball Valves For Mining Slurry Delivered To Norway Again

 DN50 Ceramic ball valves with F316 body and ceramic lining were exported to Norway again to solve abrasion and corrosion problems in mining projects for our end user.


Considering the corrosive working environment, the body of the ball valves are changed from carbon steel A105 to stainless steel F316. The body is fully lined with ceramic as before. The medium is corrosive mining slurry with abrasive nickel and metal particles.

The end user used metal seated ball valves before, but the metal seats were worn out easily under the corrosive and abrasive working conditions. After usage of our corrosion and abrasion resistant ceramic ball valves, thanks to the extreme physical harness and chemical stablity, the working life is increased dramatically and the maintenance cost and shutdown time are reduced a lot.

When there are corrosive fluid and abrasive solid in the same application, the corrosion and abrasion problems are hard to be solved.

The abrasion problem is exacerbated under corrosive working condition, the corrosion problem is also aggravated under abrasive working condition. Ball valve with soft seat, corrosion resistant body and ball can solve the corrosion problem. Ball valve with metal seat may solve the abrasion problem. But only the ceramic ball valves can solve the abrasion and corrosion problems at the same time.
