Actuators are devices that help workers in the pipeline to drive the valves. The power could be electric, air (pneumatic) or flow (hydraulic). Actuators have two main functions: linear and rotary. So, let's get into the common types of valve actuators.


Manual Actuators

These actuators, also known as manual actuators, usually require workers to run a wheel or lever. However, due to the high pressure inside the pipes, people usually dislike manual actuators because they are difficult to operate. However, manual actuators do have their advantages.
